Wednesday, July 29th, 2009Hey guys! This summer I’ve noticed that there’s quite a nice TV line-up going on– and it’s not all reruns! Check out what I’m watching this summer:
1. The Secret Life of the American Teenager
Secret Life comes on ABC Family on monday nights. Soo addictive. Lots of good looking people. Created by the same people who did 7th Heaven, but better in my opinion.
2. Make It or Break It
Also on ABC Family on monday nights, this show has the same sort of concept as the movie Stick It, but it also delves deeper into the lives of a small group of gymnasts. And it seems like the main actresses even do most of their own stunts! Either that or they’re really good at faking it.
3. 10 Things I Hate About You
ABC Family again, except this time on tuesday nights. Super adorable 30-minute show. If you find high school stereotypes and crushes entertaining television, check this out for sure.
4. NYC Prep
I’ve already discussed this show a bit on my site… It’s a reality show on Bravo tuesday nights centering around a group of New York City teenagers who attend prep school (which by contract are never mentioned on the show). Mostly good-looking people. If you like watching overly-privileged kids on television, like Gossip Girl, this is most definitely the summer show for you.
5. Warehouse 13
Tuesday nights on Scifi this show follows the same sort of formula as Fox’s Fringe, but it’s entertaining. Two FBI agents are swept away from their routine jobs to a warehouse in the middle of nowhere which contains mystical objects unsafe for the public, and their wacky boss (and his female African American assistant, sound familiar Fringe-fans?) helps them and sends them off to various strange occurrences around the country to find out what’s going on and retrieve whatever item is creating havoc.
In case you haven’t noticed, TV is kinda my thing, and I watch a lot of it.
Have a great summer everyone!
